4. Your Obligations as the Seller
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate details about your vehicle, including make, model, condition, VIN, and registration.
- Confirm that you are the lawful owner of the vehicle or are legally authorised to sell it.
- Remove personal belongings, registration plates, and any sensitive items before collection.
- Ensure access for safe towing and removal.

5. Quotes and Vehicle Inspection
All quotes provided by Quick Car Buyer are based on the information you supply.
We reserve the right to adjust or withdraw an offer if:
- The actual condition of the vehicle differs significantly from your description;
- The vehicle has unreported mechanical or structural damage; or
- The vehicle has outstanding finance or encumbrances.
Quotes are valid for up to seven (7) days unless otherwise stated.
6. Payment and Collection
- Payment is made via secure electronic transfer (e.g., bank deposit or Osko) before or at the time of vehicle pickup.
- Cash payments are not offered in compliance with Australian transaction regulations.
- Vehicle collection will occur at the scheduled date and location agreed upon between you and Quick Car Buyer.
- Ownership transfers to Quick Car Buyer once payment is confirmed and the vehicle is collected.
- You release us from all liability for the vehicle after pickup.
7. Vehicle Condition and Risk Transfer
By selling your vehicle to us, you acknowledge that:
- The vehicle is sold “as is” and you make no warranties other than those legally required.
- All risk and responsibility for the vehicle transfer to Quick Car Buyer upon collection and payment.
- We may refuse or cancel the transaction if we determine that ownership or vehicle condition has been misrepresented.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quick Car Buyer:
- Is not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of the website or services.
- Provides all information on an “as available” basis without warranty as to accuracy or completeness.
- Limits liability to the amount paid for the specific transaction or service giving rise to the claim.
